Celeste's Cakes Celese's Cakes The dream to start my own business came from the need to earn extra income but not willing to spend any more time away from my daughter.

From watching my dad and grandmothers, I learned the art of cooking; my art of baking from my grandmother Bernice. I kept asking myself "what can I do to take care of Alex and me". During a sermon, I was lead to II Kings 4:1-7 which instructed the woman to get all the jars she had in her home and they would continuously be filled with oil. Enough to always take care of her family. It was at that p

oint I knew what I was to do. My passion was cooking and baking, with more of my art placed in my cakes. With a vision and a name for my business "My Alex & Me" I took the few ingredients it takes to make a cake, always kept on stock in my home and the first cake was baked and sold. To increase my knowledge, I enrolled in a class under my teacher Tayari who started this flame and eventually worked in a bakery under Yvonne who fueled the fire. With your ideas and my abilities, I have continuously produced masterpieces of art in cake. With your business and support, I will continue. As the business grew, so did my daughter and the name was changed to Celeste's Cakes. Because one thing is for sure, all I do; I do it for her.
