ve off a homemade vibe, hence the " country comfort" in our name. Besides the goods in our shop, we also bake buns for local businesses: Bob's Sub Shop (in Slippery Rock) and
Jean's Super Subs (in Grove City). During major holidays, order forms will be available with special and essential food items that can be picked up later. Christmas is our busiest time of year, so be sure to place an order asap! After Christmas, the bakery is usually closed for the month of January.

Good morning everyone! We posted yesterday about our upcoming pop up day. We asked you to postpone calling until today, but we'd like to ask you to maybe wait at least another day. Hello Bakery friends! We decided that Saturday the 20th would work the best for our June Pop Up. Wow!, there's a lot going on every weekend in our area. We hope this works out for all of you. We made a list of all the items you can call and pre-order. There's pictures here of some of them from years past. Sometimes we vary the decorating, but this gives you an idea about what we make. The shop will have our regular selection of donuts, some bakery favorites, our decorated cutout cookies, pies, and more. We'll try to let you know more specifics as the day gets closer. Hello Bakery friends! Saturday is the day. We will be open from 7am-1pm. We have been getting things ready for you. We started decorating some of the sugar cookies today. The pastel colors look so pretty! We hope to post more pictures tomorrow as we finish items. We will have extra pies, decorated cookies by the dozen, 6" decorated cookies for gifting mom, cookie filled mug gifts for mom, mixed cookie plates tied with a bow, chocolate chip cookie cakes, single layer 8" white decorated cakes for mom, lots of donuts!, ladylocks, homestyle bread, pepperoni and cheese rolls, and more! There's so much going on in the area this weekend; mothers day events at shops, garage sales, proms, and more. Hello Bakery friends! Just a reminder that we will be open this Saturday, May 9th. It's Mother's Day weekend and theres a lot going on, but we hope you find some time in the morning to stop in and grab some goodies. We'll be open from 7am-1. We started getting ready today rolling ladylock shells and cutting out sugar cookies. We're putting hearts with "Mom" on them and flowers in our mixed dozens. Check out the picture of the little bees we piped to put on some of the flower cookies. Don't worry, they wont sting you! Good morning Bakery friends! We just created the event post for our May Pop up sales date. We will be open Saturday, May 9th, the weekend of Mother's Day. We have a few items you can order in advance on this order form. Please call the shop at (814)786-7349 to place your order. Some items may be limited. We should have a good selection that day. We plan on having gift items for the moms in your life; Six-inch large, decorated sugar cookies, decorated cutout cookies by the dozen, large chocolate chip cookie hearts, personal and sharable cookie plates, dessert cakes and pies, freshly made donuts, and more. Please call the shop with any questions you may have. We will only be open on Saturday the 9th from 7am-1pm. Again, the shop phone number is (814)786-7349. See you all soon!

(You may notice the cutout cookie price went up. The donuts will also be $17/dozen. We have had the same price for years and had to make the increase due to higher costs in ingredients and packaging.)

What a whirlwind day! It is truly humbling to see all of you at our little shop in the country. Thank you for your patronage. Thank you Angie, Pam, Amy, Carol, Leslie, and Derek for all the hardwork. Hello Bakery friends! We are busy getting things ready for tomorrow. There's a lot of orders, but if you didn't get one in, we will have many items in store for you to purchase. We are planning on making a double batch of donuts. There will be a lot of people in this little shop, so we thank you for your patience in advance. Also, when helping customers, we may not get to the phone. We're not ignoring you, just helping those in the shop. Photos are of items available for purchase and there will be more. No orders will be taken today.
