This week has just been a series of unfortunate events😩 along with the fire and the uncertainty there I have been sick and still not better to make it to the market this weekend. I am so sad! But I will have orders open for next week. I miss you all and look forward to baking for you again soon💜

A classic sourdough loaf☺️ known on my menu as: The Commoner🌾
The most known loaf while also commonly overlooked in favor of the flavorful, more “exciting” loaves. This loaf is hardworking and the backbone of all the other loaves, but all too often receives little credit. It is beautiful in a simplistic way. Just like the commoners of everyday life. Hence ✨The Commoner✨

All of my loaves have fun, unusual names, because well: I love fun and unusual names! It brings a little whimsy to the ordering experience☺️ this is the first of a new series where I introduce all of the loaves on my menu and explain the thought behind each name💜
