And just like that kidding season ended last night at midnight with the last 3 does to kid, all kidding!! Our beautiful black and white spotted first freshener, Voodoo kidding with a beautiful set of twins!! She got the spotted kid memo I sent out last fall. JellyBean was next with quads!!!! She needed assistance with delivery and I am so thankful it all went well! They are beautiful babies with black spots! Last up was Ivonne, who delivered a cute set of triplets!! So glad the stress of delivering is over and I've been busy keeping everyone's bellies full today!! We do have bottle kids available!!

Brown is the word in goat town tonight!!! Today was Jamboree's turn. I bred her intentionally to the same buck that produced spotted triplets last season! Joke is on me! Gotta love wild card genetics!! I am however, delighted that she had 3 big strappin healthy kids! 2 doelings, 1 buckling. She felt much better after unloading that big load of babies!! Jamboree is a lovely doe that is very milky and pretty to look at. Shout out to her great breeding from my friend Debra Day Sanders. Another set of twins arrived this weekend to Maybelline. In true Maybelline style, she fussed around all day, and then decided bedtime was a good time to deliver more buck kids! I wasn't too happy with her, but that all changed when she jumped on the milk stand and filled the bucket! We will have goat milk available again in a couple weeks!
