📢 Important U.P. Sweets Update: How to Order! 📢

​First, a huge thank you to everyone for supporting U.P. Sweets! Because I run the bakery alongside working a full-time job, things operate a little differently around here. To help make sure I can give every single order the time and love it deserves, here is a quick look at our updated booking policies:

​🧁 Ordering & Menu

●​Pre-Orders Only: We do not have regular storefront hours. The bakery operates strictly on pre-orders, though we will occasionally host pop-up sales!

●​A Quick Reminder: I specialize in treats like cupcakes, cakesicles, cookies, hand-decorated sugar cookies, and cake jars. I do NOT make traditional cakes.

​📦 Order Minimums

​Due to the rising cost of supplies, we have implemented order minimums:

●​There is a one-dozen minimum per flavor.

●​If you need fewer than that, keep an eye out for our pop-up announcements!

●​Note: We can accommodate a minimum of 6 per flavor, but an inconvenience fee will apply.

​🗓️ Timeline & Payments

●​Notice Required: We require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for all orders (though the earlier you can book, the better!).

●​Deposits: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Your booking is not locked in until this is paid.

●​Final Balance: The remaining balance is due 72 hours before pickup.

●​Rush Orders: Orders placed with less than 2 weeks' notice will only be accepted if my schedule allows. Rush orders must be paid in full upfront, and a rush fee will be added to the total.

​Thinking about a custom order for a special event? Let’s plan it out!

●​Consultations: Free of charge! I am available to meet on weekdays after 5:00 PM on a mutually agreed-upon date.

●​Tastings: Available starting at $25, depending entirely on the specific flavors and items you would like to sample.

We’re Back! 🧁✨

​Big news! U.P. Sweets is officially re-opening on May 20th!

​Life has brought some changes lately with my move, and while the scenery is different, the oven is preheated and ready to go just in time for graduation season! 🎓 I am so excited to be back in the kitchen and serving you all again.

​With the re-opening comes some new policies to help me provide the best quality treats while managing rising costs and time:

​📋 New Ordering Guidelines

​The 1-Dozen Rule: Custom orders now require a minimum of 1 dozen per flavor. We are no longer able to offer mix-and-match flavors for custom bookings.

​Cakesicle Exception: You can mix and match flavors for cakesicles if you order a minimum of 6 of each flavor (to reach your 1-dozen order minimum).

​Cake Jars: These require a minimum order of 6 per flavor.

​Menu Focus: My primary focus is cakesicles, dipped treats, cupcakes, cookies, and cake jars.

​No Custom Cakes: As a reminder, I am no longer offering custom tiered or occasion cakes.

​Off-Menu Requests: If you’re craving a different dessert, send me a PM! I’m open to discussing other treats on a case-by-case basis.

​🎓 Graduation Bookings

​To ensure each graduate gets the time and commitment their order deserves, I am offering limited availability for graduation parties.

​Booking Starts: May 20th.

​Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.

​Final Payment: The remaining balance is due one week prior to your pickup.

​🏠 Pop-Up Events

​If you love variety, keep an eye out for our Pop-Up Sales! During these events, there will be no minimums, and you can mix and match any flavors I have available that day.

Big News: U.P. Sweets is Moving! 🚚💨

​Something sweet is happening! We are officially packing up the sprinkles and moving to a new location. We can’t wait to show you our new space and get back to making your favorite treats.

​Here’s the scoop:

​Current Status: We are temporarily CLOSED while we move and get everything settled.

​Grand Re-Opening: We hope to be back up and running by the 3rd week of April!

Friends... there is absolutely 100% a reason I don’t take on cakes anymore. The artistic vision is there, but the ex*****on just isn’t 🤷‍♀️. Every baker has things they excel at and things they don't. I’m not ashamed to admit that I simply don't do cakes, and I will turn them away if asked—that goes for anything I feel I’m just not meant to be doing!

​The ONLY reason this cake happened is because my son turns 16 tomorrow. If he hadn't specifically requested a cake from me, he would have been getting one from Walmart! 🤣

​Ps... After I finished baking the cake, he walked out and said, "Mom, I actually asked for cupcakes." Clearly, I missed the "cup" part of that conversation... 🤦‍♀️

​Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow so I don’t ruin the surprise. He’s a bit of a stalker and watches my page like a hawk!
