Join our dynamic culinary team as a Baker, Catering Prep Cook/Sandwich Assembly, or cashier! where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while contributing to a team that values excellence and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Prepare sandwiches
Prepare fresh ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipe specifications.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, garnishes, and side dishes to ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.
Support the kitchen team in cooking tasks, including basic food handling and meal assembly under supervision.
Follow proper knife skills for efficient and safe food preparation.
Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations to promote a safe dining environment.

Welcome back Mr. Golden Sun!

It's Thursday in Iron Mountain, and that means the Out To Lunch Summer Concert Series is happening today from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm at the First National Bank & Trust Downtown Stage!

🎸Today’s performance is by perennial favorite Kind of Blues Band, sponsored by Blomquist Architects. You'll be listening to some straight U.P. blues with a twist of jazz. Today's weather should be full sun with a light breeze and a high of 78 degrees - or in other words, perfect!

For the lunch portion of today's event, Millie's Market will be serving up some of their consistently awesome food!

Bring a lawn chair, some sun protection, and your friends and family! We will see you Downtown! We'll also have a few umbrellas on hand to borrow in case you need some shade.
