A little vulnerable post today. 🤍
For the longest time, I avoided taking cake orders because I was convinced I wasn’t good enough. I doubted my skills, overthought everything, and let fear keep me from even trying.
This is only my second specialty cake order, and I’m genuinely proud of it.
More than the cake itself, I’m proud that I took the leap. I’m proud that I stopped waiting until I felt “ready” and gave myself the chance to grow. The perfectionist in me can still spot every tiny detail I’d tweak, but I’m learning that growth doesn’t come from waiting until you’re perfect—it comes from doing the thing anyway.
So today, I’m choosing to celebrate how far I’ve come instead of focusing on how far I have left to go.
Here’s to proving our own doubts wrong, taking chances on ourselves, and being brave enough to start. 🤍✨
