🌻 VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Nonni’s Niche 🌻

Today we’re highlighting a brand-new small business filled with handmade treasures, creativity, and so much heart — Nonni’s Niche! 🤎

The maker behind Nonni’s Niche has been sewing and creating jewelry since childhood, but after years of making special pieces for gifts and favors, she recently took the leap and turned that lifelong love into a business of her own!

One of her most special creations is her hand-sewn heirloom baby bonnets. 🎀 Each bonnet is made from a vintage or new handkerchief and is designed to convert back into a handkerchief for the child to carry on their wedding day. Each one even comes with an original poem explaining the tradition and how to convert it back. 🥹🤍 She’s also beginning to create bonnets for baby boys that can later be used as a pocket handkerchief or given to their bride on their wedding day.

She also handcrafts beautiful jewelry using locally preserved wildflowers, shells, and other pieces of nature, preserved in acrylic and sometimes finished with hand-wrapped wire. 🌸🐚 You’ll also find plenty of fun novelty jewelry mixed in!

What started as something she simply loved doing for others has now become Nonni’s Niche, and we’re so excited to watch this new little business grow. 🌻

JAB’s Seafood has been serving Southwest Louisiana since 1996! Based in Hackberry, they specialize in live crabs and steamed crab meat — including jumbo lump, lump, claw meat, cocktail fingers, and crab dip. And yes, all of their crab meat is steamed! 🦀🤤
