We've had sunny skies, crisp air, and the leaves in Ionia have really been putting on a show!

Keep us in mind this week while you're out enjoying the colors, taking walks, and enjoying the color! We've got our fall favorites like Pumpkin Spice Latte and Caramel Apple C***r (using locally-sourced c***r from a family business) waiting for you!

Bonus - Share some of your favorite pics of the fall colors below!

Our hearts are full this week...

We've spent the last few days feeling so loved, happy, and fulfilled after celebrating 20 years of SoZo Coffee Roasting with the Ionia community last Saturday!

Seeing everyone come out from over the years, celebrate with us, and to be part of this milestone means more than we can say. Thank you for making it so special!

We also want to give a huge thank-you to the local businesses and organizations that helped make the day happen-

-Independent Bank helped cover some event costs like straw bales and face painting (plus The Sparkling Grotto gave us a nice discount!)
-Denny Farms donated pumpkins for everyone to decorate!
-The Ionia Area Chamber of Commerce and Restore Church shared their larger games for the kids to enjoy!
-MOO-ville Creamery in Ionia "The Udder Store" donated ice cream to enjoy with our cake!
-And Renucci's Bar and Restaurant was eager to get involved from the very beginning, bringing their pizza and burgers out of the restaurant and right into the community!

Plus the incredibly awesome Cherrie Gladding made an amazing quilt and a beautiful flower arrangement for us!

It takes a community to make a day like this happen, and we're so grateful to be surrounded by people who show up for one another! Twenty years in, we're feeling pretty lucky to call Ionia home. Thank you SO MUCH for being part of our story here!

Help us wish a very Happy Birthday to Corbin!

Corbin has been helping Rodney out around the shop and has quickly become our resident jack of all trades! If there’s something that needs to be figured out, fixed, moved, built, carried, or just generally taken care of, Corbin is usually somewhere nearby making it happen!

We’re really glad to have him on the SoZo Coffee Roasting team and appreciate all the ways he jumps in and helps keep things moving!

Happy birthday, Corbin. We hope you have a great one!

We’ve got pumpkins!!

When I called and asked Denny Farms if they'd be up for donating a few pumpkins for our birthday party, they didn't even let me finish my sentence and said "We'd love to!"

A huge thank you to .farms for sponsoring our Pumpkin Decorating at our 20th Birthday Bash this Saturday!

We’ll have pumpkins ready to decorate from 10am-2pm, so bring the kids, grab a coffee, some pizza, and let's get creative!

It's International Coffee Day, so we want to highlight some of the people behind a NEW COFFEE we'll be releasing!

Meet Rodolfo and Darinel, two farmers from the same cooperative in San Marcos, Guatemala. Rodolfo uses a washed process, while Darinel honey-processes his coffee (a method where coffee beans are dried with some or all of their sticky, sugary fruit layer still attached, but contains no actual added honey).

We’ve blended the two together to create a really special medium roast, and one of our first new coffees in a bit! More on that VERY soon.

For today, buy any 3 bags of any regular-priced coffee and get 10% off!

Or grab one of our sampler boxes featuring coffees from Guatemala, Ethiopia and Colombia, the three regions we currently work with.

Happy International Coffee Day!
