Hello again! It’s been a while since we have posted so we wanted to give a brief update on where we are in our journey.
We have completely healed from the double mastectomy surgery👏🏻👏🏻
Today we are 9 weeks into our treatment plan. This means we are officially halfway through this challenging experience and have 9 more weeks to go!
We have been blessed so far in that we are tolerating the chemotherapy treatment pretty well. The main side effects right now are :
1. Almost complete hair loss 😩. Which was absolutely devastating when it happened, but on the plus side it will grow back!
2. Incredible fatigue. I have never felt so exhausted. I can only do minimal activity before I am completely wiped out and need to rest. I have tried a few times to go to the bakery to test my stamina and ability to bake but could not last more that 30 mins on my feet.
Because of this extreme fatigue the bakery will continue to be closed for the time being. 😕
We have received many well wishes from our customers, friends and family. We are so grateful to you all for your support and look forward to getting back to normal soon.
