Martin County Public Library is seeking an experienced, community minded Library Director to lead our library system into its next chapter. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a passion for public service, and the ability to
manage library operations, staff, programming, and longterm planning.

Responsibilities include: • Overseeing daily library operations • Managing staff, budgets, and strategic planning • Developing programs and services for all ages • Maintaining positive community and governmental relationships • Ensuring excellent
patron service and resource accessibility.

Qualifications: • Kentucky Public Library Certification, or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe. • Administrative or supervisory experience • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Application can be picked upped at and returned to the Martin County Public Library, 387 East Main St., Inez, KY 41224 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday.

The MCLP at the Collier Center have teamed up with the Kentucky Blood Center to host a community blood drive on Monday, June 8th, 2026. They will be stationed in the gym from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for all who can participate.

Walk-ins are welcome, or you can schedule your appointment today at 800-775-2522. You can also scan the QR code on the flyer to schedule online!

All that participate will receive a free “United We Give” t-shirt and a voucher for a FREE pint of Blue Bell Ice Cream. Give a pint, get a pint!

The Kentucky Blood Center serves over 70 hospitals in the state and provides blood that goes on to save the lives of our friends, family and neighbors. 1 pint of blood takes about 45 minutes of your time to give, but goes on to help up to 3 adults (or 6 children) in need. Please help us keep the blood supply full!

Movie Theater Manager for Movies on Main

Movies on Main is looking for a dedicated Movie Theater Manager to help lead the way. This position will work with the Library Director at Martin County Public Library, to create a seamless partnership between the theater and the library—bringing film, learning, and community engagement together under one
vision.

What You’ll Do
· Oversee daily theater operations, staffing, scheduling, and customer service
· Collaborate with the Library Director on joint programs, special events, and community initiatives
· Manage film licensing, concessions, budgeting, and facility upkeep
· Create a welcoming, familyfriendly environment for all patrons

What We’re Looking For A motivated leader with strong organizational skills, a passion for film and community programming, and the ability to work collaboratively
across departments.
