October has arrived, and we’ve got a frightfully fun month ahead! 🕷️🖤

🎃 Expect scratch-made pies, gooey cinnamon rolls, maple pecan scones, and plenty more seasonal treats including our Pumpkin Pie Cold Foam Cold Brew and Pecan Praline cafe au lait!

Every Saturday in October (including Halloween) we will be at the Brookfield Farmer's Market from 8am-1pm.

Food has become increasingly manufactured, processed, and designed for convenience.

When you shop local, we believe you should be getting something truly set apart from what you could simply dress up from a grocery store.

We built Ye Olde Proof & Crumb to go in the other direction — back to old-fashioned recipes, real ingredients, and the time-honored process of making things by hand.

Does it take longer? Yes.
Does it cost more? Yes.
But that first bite tells you something else, too: it tastes better.

Our motto is “No Mixes. No Shortcuts.”

And we mean it.

That means no premade dough from a manufacturing company. No pastries or baked goods shipped to us frozen in a box. No taking something manufactured elsewhere and simply dressing it up to look homemade.

Because if we did that, we wouldn't be any different from a big-name corporate café — and our whole goal is to be different.

When you support a small, local bakery, we want you to know exactly what you're supporting: people who are mixing, rolling, shaping, filling, proofing, and baking your food by hand.

It takes more time. It takes more work. But we think you deserve to taste the difference. 🤎

We’re so excited to announce that starting this Saturday, August 22, we’ll be joining the Brookfield Farmers Market on Saturdays through October!
We’ll be bringing fresh-baked bread, scratch-made treats, and coffee to the market.
Some of our staples will include:

• Bread Loaves-Jalapeño Cheddar and 3-Cheese
• Focaccia
• Scones
•Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls
• Fresh Coffee

We’ll also be bringing special items throughout the season as we experiment with new recipes and flavors.

When we first started Ye Olde Proof & Crumb, we had a menu item we knew we wanted to bring back someday.

The problem? They’re labor intensive and take time to get just right.

Well…we’re ready. And we’re bringing them back bigger than ever.

Hand-rolled, scratch-made brioche cinnamon rolls with decadent cream cheese icing. And when we say BIG, we mean it.

0.5 lb to 1 full pound of cinnamon roll goodness.

Tomorrow may be rainy, but that’s not stopping us from rolling these out just for you!

This Wednesday marks 1 year of Ye Olde Proof & Crumb! 🎉

We're incredibly grateful for everyone who's supported us throughout this first year. It's been an amazing journey, and we've had an absolute blast sharing fresh-baked goods and coffee with our community this market season.

Come celebrate with us this Wednesday at the 8 Corners French Market in Brookfield from 4:00pm–7:00pm! We'd love to see you there and thank you in person for being part of our first year.

You can find us at these weekly markets throughout the season, with all locations and dates listed below. Save this post so you always know where to find our scratch-made breads, sweet treats, and handcrafted drinks.

Starting THIS WEEK, our Cold Brew Bar will be available at three weekly markets, featuring seasonal cold foam flavors:
