rie Abbott’s modern take on grandma’s candy dish favorites is inspired by childhood memories including trips with her grandfather to Hook’s Drugstore in the late 1970s. Carrie has been on the food scene since 2008 as a caterer. After an experiment gone deliciously right involving a peanut butter dessert for a wedding reception, her signature candy Frittle was born. Carrie whips up all of her little sweet treats including pralines, sweet and spicy pecans, and seasonal candies in the Chatham Arch neighborhood in Indianapolis, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
