I don’t know what I was thinking when I opened the bakery. I’m glad I did it. I learned a lot. A lot about myself. A lot about the community.

I’ve met some amazing people. I have accomplished some pretty cool things. As I wrap up in these last few weeks, I just want to say thank you.

No one knows what lies ahead when we take risks. This one was calculated. I don’t think anyone would have guessed that the price of my goods would triple in three years. I know the community is feeling the squeeze, because I’m feeling it too. I hope I created a space over the last two years where you have felt comfortable. Seen. Appreciated. Loved. Thank you again.

All right y’all. I sat down and did the math at the end of January and we’re no longer making enough to cover payroll.

The storefront is officially closed. We will still be in there filling custom orders we have received, but we will not be open for retail business. Our last day of operation is 2/14.

If you’d like to order macarons for Valentine’s Day, we will try to accommodate pre-orders! Send me a PM. The February flavor list is attached.

🧡This Friday we will be closing early. The best part about owning a business is being able to give my staff the time off when they need it for personal reasons. Everybody needed this Friday afternoon off, so we will be closing at 2 PM.

🩷We will be open our regular hours from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday.

I was hoping the weather was driving the poor sales. But after last week, we’re not going to be able to be open on Thursdays anymore. Starting this week, we are only open on Friday and Saturday! Come get your Macarons and scones for the weekend. Friday 10 AM to 7 PM. Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM. We’ve got about 3 weeks left until we close 🫶

As a reminder, our last day of operation will be Friday, February 14. 💕
