Hey friends 👋
This decision has been brewing for a while, but it’s finally time for me to step away from the cookie world. All remaining orders will be completed as scheduled, but I will not be accepting any further orders.
The past 8 years have taught me a lot. Cookie decorating of course, but I’ve learned to run a business in every facet from web design, tax prep, invoicing, inventory, customer service, marketing and events.
It’s been a ride and if I’m being 100% honest, most weeks left me feeling depleted both mentally and physically.
I started BZ Bees as a creative outlet, never imagining so many of you would rely on me for your most special events. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for trusting me and for supporting my small business through custom orders, pop-ups, classes and even social media.
At this point, the time and labor I’m investing to run this business are no longer producing an equal amount of joy and personal fulfillment. So that’s my sign to step back and spend my time and energy focusing on things that do.
I’m not sure what that means today, but I’m excited to start a new chapter for myself.
