Returners so far are Orange Clove - this soap is fun as it gets pumpkin puree added. Ooh La La will be returning however is getting a name change to Crimson this year. A newcomer for us is Sweater Weather a special request from Kelli at Pond Hill Farm.

I had purchased some Suet when rendered down was to soft and not what you expected from us. Was there anything wrong no - other then consistency in the end product. I know you have come to love our tallow creams. I prefer to wait for the product to be as expected rather than sell you something you’re not expecting.

Good thing we use ALOT of tallow in our soap, that last 100 lbs will be rendered down and used in soap. So no waste. If you’re asking yourself why it was soft. There are several factors that can contribute to that. Time of year the animal was processed, their diet, their breed, I feel that last batch was higher in unsaturated fats - lending to a softer tallow. I have purchased from that farm prior with the end results I look for. This time it was ment to be for soap. I am fortunate I work closely with several local farms. They will all continue to be farms I work with.

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope to not run out again any time soon.

What should we do about these well aged long forgotten about soaps?

They are well aged bars, rich creamy lather as you would expect from our soaps. Oh don't drop them on your toe they are as hard as a rock 😂

Sometimes soaps get put aside due to their wrapper getting wet at markets, sometimes they get pulled cuz they are the last of that scent and we need to fill the space, sometimes a round bar will get poured with left over soap batter.

After time scent can fade, some of these have some have not.

Should we cut them in half and make up some “soap scrap bags” or toss them in a basket for you to pick out at a discounted rate?

Kids Day happening at Harbor Springs Farmers Market today. These days are always magical for the kiddos. They can stop at the kids tent, get a clipboard and go in a scavenger hunt. When they turn it in, they receive a $2 token to spend.
I was only able to visit a few of my local vendors and the kiddoes offerings are amazing.

The wedding is approaching soon.

Market season is starting, this is how the next few weeks is looking.

For the Harbor Springs Farmers Market we will only be missing May 30th.

The Downtown Petoskey Farmers Market is starting a week late due to construction downtown. 1st day is May 29th, we will not be missing any markets here.

We officially start Charlevoix Farmers Market on June 4th.

And we start Boyne City Farmers Market on June 13th, this year we will be attending on Saturday’s only.

This coming weekend you can find us naturally at Harbor Springs Farmers Market 9-1.
Pond Hill Farm from 12-4 on Saturday.
40 Mile Point Lighthouse Saturday and Sunday.

Let the summer fun begin 😍 Can’t wait to see you all out and about.

And in my spare time, Remmi is becoming a little mushroom hunter.
