This loaf tastes like summer. Sweet strawberries and white chocolate chips are folded into our vanilla infused sourdough

Buttery, tender scones packed with juicy blackberries and lightly sweetened with honey. They’re the kind of treat that pairs perfectly with your morning coffee…or disappears before you make it back to the couch

You’ll also find all your favorite sourdough breads and cookies on the menu!

• Saturday pickup in Independence
• Saturday pickup at Motley Home in Burlington
• Sunday pickup at Walton-Verona Farmers & Artisan Market

One of the biggest goals I’ve had for this little bakery has been finding ways to grow and serve our community without taking more time away from my family.

I’ve looked into weekly markets and other opportunities, but at this stage of life, spending entire weekends away from home just isn’t the right fit for us. My family will always come first, and I’ve been searching for a way to expand that allows me to balance both.

That’s where our new self-serve bread stand comes in!

Here’s how it will work:
🥖 Pre-orders aren’t going anywhere! Your pre-orders will be safely tucked away in the cabinet sections of the stand for easy pickup.

🍪 Fresh extras will be available on the self-serve shelves. Each weekend, you’ll find the shelves stocked with loaves, scones, cookies, and other bakery favorites available for grab-and-go purchase.

This bakery has grown because of your support, and I’m so grateful for every order, every share, and every kind word along the way. I can’t wait to see this next chapter come to life and make it even easier to get fresh sourdough and baked goods into your hands.

Apparently “I just tear into it like a caveman standing over the kitchen sink” is not the answer people are looking for when they ask how I eat my sourdough. 😂

I get asked all the time what to use loaves for, meanwhile I’m over here eating chunks of bread with butter before they even fully cool.

Thankfully, you guys are are much more civilized than I am.

Sharing this gorgeous sandwich one of you made because honestly… this is the kind of inspiration people are actually asking for.

What’s your favorite way to enjoy your loaf? Sandwiches? French toast? Grilled cheese? Toast at midnight straight from the cutting board? I need ideas too. 😅

I’m planning out our lineup and I want your input before I finalize the loaf of the month!

June in Kentucky means fresh summer flavors, cookouts, and slow mornings at home. I’ve narrowed it down to a few ideas, but I need your votes to decide!

🍰 Strawberry Shortcake - a lightly sweetened vanilla loaf full of strawberries and white chocolate
🥯 Everything Bagel - our classic savory loaf loaded with garlic, onion, sesame, and poppy seeds
🫐 Blueberry - a classic lightly sweetened loaf packed with vibrant berries
🍁 Maple Oatmeal - sweet maple and hearty oats, the perfect breakfast loaf

Memorial Day feels especially meaningful this year. No matter where we come from or what we believe, today is a reminder that the freedoms we enjoy every day came at a great cost. Thank you will never be enough.

Remembering and honoring the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and feeling deeply grateful for the ability to gather with family, build a life we love, speak freely, and enjoy the simple moments so many fought to protect. ❤️🤍💙
