Another cake down. 🩷

This one, I was very unsure when I was doing the red drips for the top as it was not looking as I wanted it to (mostly the wrong shade of red 🤦🏼‍♀️). Even though I’ve done plenty of cakes, I’m still learning as I go and my biggest take away from this, is to not be afraid to do some trail and errors before making the cake.

However, after all the decorations were placed on it, I do enjoy how it turned out. Everything is edible, except the ‘Happy Birthday’ banner. 😌

I never got around to posting on here, but here is the cake I made for my youngest last week. I wish I got a picture with better lightning honestly. It’s hard to believe she is already three though. 🩷

At the moment, I’m still not really taking any new orders. I’m starting some classes soon and I don’t want to overload myself too much. Sorry, I know I’m always back and forth, but I would prefer to be in a good spot when I make cakes. Thank you for understanding!

I got a request for a dinosaur cake, which of course I was happy to do! I’m not going to lie, I’ve always enjoyed dinosaurs (grew up loving ‘The Land Before Time’ and of course ‘Jurassic Park’) and it was even Julia’s first birthday theme!

This was a chocolate cake with a cookies n cream filling. The dinosaur and trees were toys, but everything else was edible, including some chocolate rocks.

I enjoyed making this, but this will most likely be the last post you see from me for a little bit. 🩷 We are taking a much needed family vacation at the beginning of next month and we have a bit to do to prepare.

Heart cakes are definitely popular, but that’s ok, because they are probably one of my favorite kinds to make! This one was made with strawberry cake with buttercream frosting.

Things get crazy sometimes and I realized I still never posted my last cake!

I will always appreciate anyone that reaches out to me for a cake, especially if you choose me to make another one for you! 🥰 Thank you Kirsten, for letting me make another cake for you!

It’s not very often I get a new challenge, but I was glad I gave it a shot! First time making a cake shaped like a ball, which it didn’t come out as round as I would have liked. But hey, if anyone wants a cake that is shaped like a three dimensional egg, I can do that for you! 😂 Jokes aside, it was still fun to make.

Another order went out the door today. This cake ended being a little more stressful than intended, but it was worth it as I’m pleased how it came out. 🩷

*Very important message*

First of all, I just wanted to mention that if anyone tries to get ahold of me and my response time is delayed, I ask to please be patient with me! For some reason, Facebook doesn’t notify me all the time when I get a new message, so I have to check periodically to ensure I don’t have any unread messages. I can’t do it as often, because as I mentioned in my bio, I also have a full time job and then I come home to three young kids to take care of.

On that note, in order to respect my time, I’ve made the official decision to require a deposit for an order to be put on the calendar from this day forward, which the amount of a deposit will depend on the order. I do apologize for any inconvenience as I never wanted to have to require anything down, but you have to understand that as soon as an order is in talks, there is already time put in as planning starts to happen.

I hope everyone had a great Easter! Ours was good, just pretty exhausting! But, knowing the kids had a good Easter makes it worth it. 🥰
