Hello all my beautiful people, it’s been a while! 🫶🏼.
Some know, and most may not, but this isn’t an “I’m back” post. It’s the post people have been waiting for for a while now. I just haven’t been ready to say anything yet. But here goes - extremely vulnerable and raw.
This last year has been, without any doubt, the hardest year of my life. It’s come with extreme lows, some of which I really didn’t know if I’d get through, but God carried me through. It’s also brought some of the biggest blessings. It has taught me things about myself, curated new dreams and ideas, and, biggest of all, shifted my priorities.
I’ve thought long and hard about what the future holds for my little family and for this bakery. It hasn’t come easily, but I’ve decided to close my oven doors permanently. Since moving into our new house in March, I’ve been able to have more free time with my son; I’ve been a more present mom, and it’s allowed me to slow down and enjoy the slow life again. We get so caught up in the constant hustle; sometimes we forget to slow down and enjoy what matters most - family!
Since opening in 2023, I have connected with so many of you throughout this community. You welcomed me with open arms, shown me more love and support than I could have ever imagined, and truly have been the best customers a girl could ask for. I will cherish this experience for the rest of my life. While I will miss you all tremendously, new bakeries have opened up around town & they are amazing!
Although it’s hard to let go, I will be selling my bakery equipment & supplies. If you know anyone who might be interested in them, please have them reach out to me.
