Springtime is a wonderful time to enjoy the splendor's from the garden- Pictured here is raspberry brownies, butterscotch blondies, strawberry lemonade cookies, Grand Champion Frosted Ginger Cookies, Aronia berry cookies, lemon zucchini bread, and chocolate sweetbread. All produce was from our garden.

I am back this year with more cookies and bars for the holiday season! I will be selling the old favorites of my Grand Champion Frosted Ginger Cookies as well as some new additions. I won a 1st prize ribbon this year at the Mcleod County Fair for my lemon bars and expect to have a few of those on hand as well as brownies and blondies, snickerdoodles, Hawaiian Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cherry Cookies, and so much more! Sorry I have been away, our stove broke in late 2023 and it’s been a long period of time adjusting to the new one. But I am back in business again. Planning on having a “yard” bake sale on Thursday May 1- Saturday May 3. Trying some new items out and will have my famous “Grand Champion Frosted Ginger” cookies along with bars, muffins, and cupcakes! Stop on by the Sioux Hills neighborhood this weekend.

Wow, I can't believe it's almost time for the Dassel-Cokato ECFE Craft Fair on November 4, 2023. I am putting together my new and improved menu and working out the schedule for when I will make all 13 varieties of cookies. Whew, October is sure going to go by fast with all this baking planned. I have also updated my website to be more user friendly for placing orders from my full menu. Check out the full menu page and let me know if you are interested in placing an order for cookies (preferably before October). I added some new options this craft fair including almond bark clusters (notated as white cluster cookies) and jelly cookies, Yum!

It was a tough year at the fair for my cookies. Looks like there were no grand champions this year. I did, however, get first place for my oatmeal raisin cookies so plan to see those for sale at the craft fair in November! Better luck next year I guess.

It's official, I have posted a listing for the cacao nib chocolate chip cookies on here. My husband loves the added crunch of the nibs, and I like the extra chocolaty flavor!

My creativity is in full flow! After being inspired by a trip to Hawaii's Big Island in February, I have created these Cacao Nib Chocolate Chip Cookies. The cacao nib heightens the chocolaty flavor and makes this the perfect cookie for the chocolate lover! Shout out to Hawaiian Crown Plantation and Chocolate Factory for growing awesome Cacao trees. I am searching for a way to make this a regularly available cookie flavor for my customers, so stay tuned.

Hey all! I know it's been a long time since I posted. I have spent the winter perfecting other skills besides cookies, but I miss making cookies! I am looking forward to this summer already and contemplating which cookies to submit to the county fair. I have really improved my chocolate chip cookies and have a better system in place for them. I also have some cocoa nubs from Hawaii I hope to work into a few varieties temporarily this summer as well. Can't wait to see what I can create!
