This morning, I’m rolling out dough with my Grandma’s (Rebecca Overdorf) rolling pin. ❤️ And there’s something so incredibly special about that because she is the woman I was named after. And my daughter also has her middle name, Sue. ☺️
Knowing that her hands once held this very rolling pin, and now I’m using it to create something with my own hands, fills my heart. ❤️
I can’t help but think about how God works through generations—how He gives us people, traditions, talents, and memories that become part of who we are.
“Her children arise and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28 🤍
I’m so thankful for the women who came before me, for the lessons they taught me, and for the gift of being able to carry a little piece of that legacy forward.
What started as a simple rolling pin has become a reminder that God’s blessings can be passed down through generations, sometimes in the simplest and most unexpected ways. 🙏🏻
So as I bake, I pray that the things I create will not only bring sweetness to someone’s day, but that this little business will continue to be a blessing to my family and others. ❤️
Some recipes are made with ingredients.
The sweetest ones are made with memories, love, and a little bit of God’s grace. ✨
