Hello everyone! I have always had a full time job and have run my cake business on the side. Unfortunately, a few months ago with the recent budget cuts in education, I lost my job at the University of Utah in St. George. I have been praying my heart out hoping for an opportunity to get back into the school system, because, kids! It’s my favorite place to be. I have looked all over Utah. A job opened in Moab and I drove out there a week ago assuming they just needed to fill their interview quota. They called me on Wednesday, offered me a job and salary I couldn’t pass up then told me I need to be in Moab the next Monday. I’m sitting here in a hotel after my first day of work, wondering what just happened. I only cried a little bit today. All of this to say that I won’t be taking orders for cakes anymore. At some point I may decide to open shop in Moab, but who knows! I have loved living in Hurricane and sharing my mad baking skills!

Orders can be picked up on Sunday, March 16 or Monday March 17 in Hurricane. If you need to make other arrangements, just let me know at [email protected]. I can also take Venmo if requested.

I will be at the Sunrise Farmers Market on Saturday from 10-2. My specialty is custom cakes, so I always have cake slices (Lemon w/lemon curd, chocolate w/coconut cream, cookie butter and Funfetti this week), cake combos (4 kinds of cake in 1 pack), Carrot and German chocolate mini cakes, challah and babka, cobblers, deep dish cookies, granola, fruit tarts, eclairs and a few gluten friendly items (chocolate chip cookies & apple crisp.) I always have samples for you to try! I've been baking for over 35 years, have been trained by some of the best and I promise you an amazing product made from scratch with fresh and real ingredients. Just a sneak peak at what’s been going on in my kitchen. I’ll be at the Hurricane market on Saturday and the Sunday funday market on Sunday. I’ll have my usual cakes and tasting, as well as some caramel and candy apples and a couple other Halloween treats. You can preorder for Halloween apples and Halloween gift boxes. Apples have to be created the night before pickup so if you’d really like to get an apple, let me know asap through messaging on IG or Facebook. I’ll send you a link to pay and get you on the list. Apples are $12 for small and $15 for large but I’m offering 10% of all Halloween items until Oct 25th. Boxes have 1 jumbo chocolate marshmallow, 1 Oreo cookie creature, 2 caramel and chocolate dipped pretzels, 4 chocolate strawberries, 2 chocolate grahams. and 2 dipped Oreos and cost $32.
