It’s zucchini bread! Check out that green! Too many zucchinis to just keep putting on the grill, so instead I shaved them up and baked them into a sweet, cinnamon bread. It gained enthusiastic favor from kids and husband!

Cooking and baking soothes me, so whenever life feels tumultuous, I head to my kitchen to find solace.
This morning I have prepared a Boston butt pork shoulder roast in the crockpot, pan-seared some chicken breasts, made a pot of rice, have poppyseed bread baking in the oven, and am preparing to make banana bread and a pound cake as well.
