I’d like to talk to y’all about a new initiative we are starting called “kindness matters”. Waaaayyyyy back in the day I used to do something called “kindness cookies” where I would give away free cookies for others to pass along in an effort to spread kindness. This is a take off of that, but specifically for kids. If we don’t pour love, hope, and kindness into our kids then the future isn’t going to be so great. But if we teach them to love everyone and sprinkle kindness like confetti, the future starts looking brighter.
This brings me to our “Kindness Matters” collection. I have vivid memories of being a child and so badly wanting to help people, but not having the funds to do it. I told myself when I was an adult I’d help as many people as I can. I know there’s other kids out there just like me, so EVERY child that comes in can ask for a FREE Kindness Matters cookie to pass along to someone else in an effort to spread kindness. The only catch is they have to tell us who they are giving it to and why. I want to instill giving in this next generation, and this is a great way to start.
*PLEASE do not take advantage of this program. I would love it to stay around forever, but that can only happen if everyone is kind and honest!*
