***NEW EVENT ALERT!!!! FABRIC DONATIONS NEEDED***

I know it’s only October, but the Christmas season has been weighing so incredibly hard on me this season. This year it was put on my heart to bless a senior community. After talking it over with the kitchen besties, we decided to launch an event called “Covered In Love” where we will be making blankets for our friends over at Alden Estates of Huntley….but we need your help!!!! We are looking for the following fabric donations:

TWO YARD INCREMENTS of:
- Anti-pill polar fleece (this is a top priority)

OR

SCRAPS IN 12” MINIMUM INCREMENTS of:
- Anything ECXEPT quilting material

ALL donations need to be clean and from a smoke free home please. We will be launching numerous blanket making days where we will have the community room set up for ANYONE to come in and help us make the blankets! We will be doing tie blankets (good for any age group to help with!) in the shop, and Jaimee and I will be sewing any additional blankets needed. Our GOAL is 58 blankets for the 58 individuals in long term care. We will also have tables set up for little ones to color cards for the residents. One of the sweetest things of this whole thing is I was able to obtain first names of the residents, so we can personalize eveything directly to the intended recipients❤️

Please bring all fabric donations to the bakery, and stay tuned for our blanket making day announcement!
