I’ve always wanted to bake, not decorate, just bake. But somewhere along the way I allowed my lust for profit to drive my passion away.

There’s something so therapeutic about baking. I’m not sure what it is but it brings me a calm and peace like no other. I’m glad I’m finding joy in doing this again (not for business). I have absolutely no desire to customize desserts any more. I appreciate the art of baking as it is. I’m still closed for business but my kitchen is always open

It’s time I put myself and my family first. For years I’ve serviced my clients and missed out on a lot of the little things in life. My kids games, parties, quiet mornings, a clean kitchen on a Friday night lol. I haven’t baked my kids a birthday cake in years, because I was always baking someone else’s. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE baking but the business side was beginning to be too much. The cost of food is rising and so are peoples attitudes lol so after 10 beautiful years I’m gracefully bowing out.

Baking was my therapy, baking for business caused me to need therapy 😂 (kidding) Y’all Stay tuned for fun baking and food inspiration as well self care tips.
