Our Story
Hi there! I am Monica Matthews-Smith, Owner & CEO of Flav Crave Cookie Co. Flav Crave was birthed out of my husband's and my passion and excitement of becoming Vegans, after learning about the negative affects of meat and dairy products on our health (and on the health of society as a whole). We were tired of watching loved ones fall victim to diet-related illnesses of hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, obesity, cancer, and so on. We wanted something different for our health, and ultimately quality of life, so we decided to take control of what we put into our bodies. Vegan living it was. Since we BOTH like our fair share of tasty treats, we set out on a quest to find some that suited our new lifestyle. Sadly, we found the supply in our area to be far and few between. SO, I began baking vegan cookies and sharing, and everyone fell in love. My passion is to be an attainable supplier for the cookie lover who wants a decadent sweet treat WITHOUT all of the preservatives, GMO, artificial sweeteners, and other stuff that you can't pronounce that are often found in many desserts. All of my products are diary free, soy- free, and all natural...and of course, all about the FLAV!
