Hello to all our dear customers,

We wanted to take a moment to address a situation that happened last night. Many of you may be aware of a post that was made, showing an old pastry infested with larva claiming that it came from our bakery.

Please believe us when we say that we were as shocked at these images as you were and immediately began an internal investigation and we are happy to announce that these allegations were false. This pastry did not come from Silvas Bakery. Outside sources also concluded that the post created on Facebook was untruthful.

Hudson BOH also performed an inspection this morning and found no evidence of old pastry, or out side organisms in our food. We were also in compliance with food storage procedures.

We would like to take this time to assure all of you that we take pride in our breads and pastries. We are a small family business and with that said, the same baked goods your families enjoy so do ours, so we handle our products with great care.

We would like to thank the town for their prompt response and care for the community and our doors are always open for the BOH in Hudson as they are there to keep us all safe.

We would also like to thank our wonderful employees for their care and hard work, keeping our little bakery running smoothly and safely for all to enjoy.

And last but certainly not least we want to thank all of our loyal customers for standing up for us in this time of unwarranted slander. You and your families are what keep us going and motivate us to wake up early every day and have your fresh baked goods ready for you to start your day.
