✨ BIG NEWS FROM GRANDMA’S HANDS BAKERY ✨
Where do I even begin?
Over the last three years, Grandma’s Hands Bakery has grown from a dream into something so much bigger than I ever imagined, and it is all because of YOU — our incredible customers, friends, and community who have supported us every step of the way.
Today, I am beyond excited to announce that Grandma’s Hands Bakery is entering a brand-new chapter! We will soon be opening our new location at 40 Iroquois Place, East Greenbush, New York.
This journey has been filled with excitement, hard work, and more than a few nervous moments, but I am thrilled to share that we have officially passed our first Department of Health inspection (A+) and have received our Certificate of Occupancy! We are getting so close, and I cannot wait to announce our official opening date very soon. We also will be offering beautiful event space (indoor & outdoor) as well for birthday parties, celebrations, corporate retreats, and meetings.
To all of our loyal customers in Hudson, Catskill, and the surrounding communities: THANK YOU. Your support has meant everything to me. While our bakery home will now be in East Greenbush, please know that our commitment to you remains exactly the same. We will continue serving our Hudson and Catskill communities and offering deliveries so you can still enjoy all of your Grandma’s Hands favorites.
This announcement is also bittersweet.
My wonderful partner, Lori, has decided to retire. Lori, I simply cannot thank you enough for everything you have contributed to this business. Your support, dedication, encouragement, and friendship have helped build Grandma’s Hands Bakery into what it is today. The last three years have been an incredible journey, and I am so grateful to have shared it with you. You will always be part of this story, and I wish you nothing but happiness in this next chapter.
As one chapter closes, another begins. I couldn’t be more excited that my son, Easton, will be partnering with me as we continue to grow Grandma’s Hands Bakery, serving not only Columbia & Greene County but also Rensselaer County and beyond. Building a family business and creating a place where community comes together is truly a dream come true.
Huge shout out to my wonderful husband, Jerry who has supported me and helped me every step of the way! Hopefully, every once in a while, he will jump behind the counter to help out too - even though he is incredibly busy with his own business. Thank you for putting up with me, letting me completely take over our kitchen, being the best taste tester, hopping on the dishes and for staying up with me when you were exhausted!! You are the absolute best!!! Thank you!
I would also like to give a very big thank you to my partners at Columbia Courts (follow us!)- Bern, Nancy & Fe for supporting this venture as well. You have been nothing but an absolute pleasure to work with and to grow with. Thank you, thank you, thank you…❤️❤️❤️
I am feeling all the emotions right now — excited, grateful, humbled, a little nervous, and incredibly hopeful.
