Painting, cleaning, getting the ovens serviced. We aim to open June 20 or 27 depending on the crops. Greenhouse vegetables are booming -- the field crops are not loving this cool rainy spring. Maybe we'll have sweet corn by Halloween? See you all soon for our 110th Season, rain or shine.

Don't let Saturday's rainy forecast scare you away from these great fall deals -- we are decked out with enormous cauliflower, crisp green and purple broccoli, tender Brussels sprouts, sweet beets, purple turnips, honeynut squash, and some of the best Concord grapes we've had. Apples (snapdragon, empire, macoun, cortland, mcintosh), pears (Bartlett), and a full bakery will also sweeten your weekend. Open rain-or-shine under our large front canopy.

With heavy freezes this spring we've underdelivered on early summer fruits. Sorry apricots...maybe next year. As compens...

With heavy freezes this spring we've underdelivered on early summer fruits. Sorry apricots...maybe next year. As compensation for that loss, we are loaded with wonderful summer produce this week: the first ripe salad tomatoes, sweet onions, yellow and green beans, sugar snap peas, the first potatoes, and more! Stop by for the flavors of summer.

Thank you to everyone for a record-breaking Thanksgiving Week. We apologize to our regular customers if you had to wait in line a bit longer (or did not manage to get a pie this year because we sold out). Our little mom-and-pop farm stand now annually maxes out on oven space and prep time and there are officially more people than pies. For next year, we suggest ordering at least a week before Thanksgiving (Go ahead and set your reminder in your phone now!)

Thanks to all who gave us a little extra patience and understanding. We are honored to serve you and look forward to reopening next year with a full bakery and our home-grown fruits and produce. We are now closed for the season and will reopen in 2023 when the cherries ripen. Have a restful and peaceful winter! Hug your loved ones tonight. Sincerely, the Yandik Family

Green Acres will be open Thanksgiving Day from 9am to Noon. All pre-orders will be ready at 9 and we have a limited number of pies, muffins, donuts, and breads for walk-ins on a first-com, first-served basis. Happy Thanksgiving!

We aim to cut off orders at the end of the week, so time is fleeting to reserve pies or breads for your Thanksgiving meal. Beginning this Thursday, Nov. 17, we are open every day 9am-5:30pm until Thanksgiving Day (special hours 9am to noon sharp on Turkey Day).
