Wooden Spoon Bakers

Wooden Spoon Bakers We bake so you don’t have to. Started in 2014, our company might be new, but we’re not new to baking and toffee making. He suggested we start a bakery.

We’ve been giving homemade goodies to friends and customers of our trucking company for over 20 years. One of our trucking customers told us that we made better chocolate chip cookies than any he had ever tasted and that our brownies were “awesome”. He thought we should be selling our products instead of giving them away. We took his suggestion and Wooden Spoon Bakers was born. We make cookies, ye

ast bread, cinnamon rolls, quick bread, bar cookies like brownies and blondies, coffee cake and various other pastries. From October through March we make our famous Texas Toffee. This is like English Toffee but with a Texas twist. Everything is made from scratch with only the best ingredients, including King Arthur Flour, Ghirardelli chocolate, Adams flavorings and Texas pecans. We hope you enjoy our products.

If you celebrate Easter, Happy Easter. If you celebrate Passover, Ramadan, Ostara or any other holiday, enjoy your celebration. Regardless of the holiday celebrated, remember that it’s the gathering of people, the fellowship of shared food and the reminder that it’s spring in the northern hemisphere. And spring means new beginnings. Enjoy your new beginnings.

Our Story

Started in 2014, our company isn’t very old, but we’re not new to baking, bread making and candy making. I’ve been baking since I was a teenager and we’ve given homemade goodies to friends and customers of our trucking company for over 20 years. Several of our trucking customers told us that we made better chocolate chip cookies than any they had ever tasted and that our brownies were “awesome”. Several thought we should be selling our products instead of giving them away. Some even suggested we start a bakery. We listened, did some research and in July 2014, Wooden Spoon Bakers was born. We make cookies, yeast bread, cinnamon rolls, quick bread, bar cookies like brownies and blondies, coffee cake and various other pastries. We also sell cookie and brownie mixes that contain the same ingredients we use in our finished products. You will never find any chemicals or preservatives in anything we make.

During the holiday season from October through Christmas, you can buy our famous Texas Toffee as well as several kinds of fudge and hand dipped chocolates. We're committed to making the best possible products and that starts with the best possible ingredients. Everything is made from scratch with only the best ingredients, including King Arthur Flour, Ghirardelli chocolate, Adams flavorings and Texas pecans. The olive oil we use is purchased directly from Olivero Farms, a Texas olive grower and we buy raw honey from Gulf Coast Honey Bee Farms located in Pearland.

We hope you enjoy eating our products as much as we enjoy making them.
