Immediately one would think “hand cramps” but I managed to get my consistency just right and was able to avoid it. Of course that didn’t negate from the time and effort that went into each piece. An average of just under 10mins per piece. You can do the math. A true labor of love. Almost hard to let these girls walk out the door.

Shout out to for all the work they do for our community. On Sunday, they held a Back2School Bash and provided teachers (in attendance) of Wilson Elementary with gift cards to help stock their classrooms.

We’re into our 2nd day without power and no real idea of when we can expect it to be restored. So much disruption but it is the least in comparison.

These pretty sunnies were for a client who fundraised to bring awareness to a rare genetic condition called Aniridia. The primary symptom of aniridia is the partial or complete absence of the iris, leading to issues with light sensitivity and vision clarity. While there is no cure for aniridia, various treatments, like wearing sunglasses, can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life

This past weekend, I gathered with some of my fitness friends from across Texas (and Oklahoma) for fitness and fellowship in Waco.

It’s always great when you can connect with folks who share a common thread. For us, it’s showing up and getting our workouts done in our own spaces; be it a garage, a park or local gym.

The best part hands down is walking away feeling energized and so fulfilled.

Of course what’s a meetup without “snacks” right? I couldn’t resist and I think it’s safe to say my friends couldn’t either. Not a single cookie left on the table. 😉

Raising 3 incredibly beautiful girls has truly been the joy of my life. I was 27yo when I lost my mama. The heartache to this day is unbearable. I was barely learning how to wear the role and fill the shoes. So truthfully it comes as no surprise that my girls raised me. Many trials and tribulations but most rewarding has been to see each of them blossom into their own roles. My only hope is that they see the same of their mama. Life is too short to be without.
