This cake gave me the opportunity to dust off some of my old cake decorating skills. Its been a while since I made flowers for a cake - I used to do a ton at the beginning of my cake journey pre married life and pre kids! It’s definitely giving me the feels and urge to reintroduce my cupcake bouquets! What do you think?
It takes patience but the results at the end are super satisfying. The combination of sugar flowers with buttercream flowers is beautiful don’t you agree?

Have you tried these yet? Rasmalai cake jars! This is made up of layers of cardamom cake soaked in rabri sandwiched between a ricotta filling and crushed rasmalai pieces and finally topped with a marscapone whipped cream and of course crushed almonds,pistachios and rose petals! This would make the perfect addition to your dessert table or as party favors! OR you can just enjoy these yourself with a cup warm cup of chai!

Growing up I’d always love the “Coffee & Walnut” cake from M&S and after moving to the US I just knew I had to try my best to replicate it!
This is a simple Coffee & Walnut cake made for a customer’s daughter’s birthday celebrations! A custom cake topper was made to go with it as well.
