Kaori's Kitchen Kaori is an incredible baker, blending Asian and American flavors into unique baked goods.

Fort Smith is getting a taste of treats it’s likely never experienced before, like Japanese apple bread, Taiwanese pineapple cookies, and coconut bread Kaori is an awesome baker; what she is creating is a cross-cultural mix of Asian and American baked goods. Things most likely that Fort Smith has never had the chance to sample, like Japanese Apple bread, Taiwanese Pineapple cookies, and coconut bread, while still offering up traditional American favorites like Blueberry muffins and Double chocolate chip cookies. Our offerings change frequently, so please check back with us whenever you can and join us on Saturday at the Fort Smith Farmer's Market, Garrison and Second Street, 7 a.m.- noon

Well, we are up after our obligatory naps. What kind of day was it? You know what it turned out to be pretty darn good. The day started very slow and just picked up incrementally. We did bring some stuff home, but that’s fine. I got to eat a peach bread for a change and I almost got my first blueberry muffin in I don’t know how long but somebody bought it at the last minute I will not hold a grudge.
The shortbread cookies vanished which was good so we’re gonna make some more of those and next week we made a promise to bring back the Double chocolate chip oatmeal cookies so they are coming.
And next week, if everything goes according to plan, Kaori‘s sister will be joining us from Japan!!!
A big thank you to everybody who got some stuff from us … but oh so I gotta tell you this one story this young man I’m gonna guess he was about eight years old and his parents came by and he got himself a Nutella surprise and they sat on the bench right in front of us.  After he finished it, he looked me dead in the eye and said I could eat 50 of those and then came back seconds later said 50 million and I believed him.
So you can tell all in all that was a real good day thanks to everyone who stopped by and hope you enjoyed what you got and I hope you come back. Plans are to see you next Saturday Fort Smith farmers market when it won’t be quite as hot unless the weatherman is lying and OH MY I hope he’s not!!

Roll call! Who is comin in the morning to the Fort Smith farmers market? Will be there from 7 AM till noon. Yeah it’s gonna be hot. So come early.
Boy, just a beautiful batch for you this week. Check out the pics! tomorrow Kaori’s kitchen, Asian American bakery Garrison and second Street I do hope to see your smiling faces.
And wouldn’t you know it the only thing I failed to get a picture of is the new shortbread cookies. If you’re a fan of shortbread come early we didn’t make a lot of them, but I have taste tested them all week long they are keepers.

Is there a stronger word than exhausted? That would be us today!
But all in all, we had a pretty good time yesterday, but where were all the people? It really was a very nice morning. It gave me hope for fall, you remember fall right when it’s cooler?
Well, we can’t worry about the ones that weren’t there but we can say thank you to the ones that were and we hope you enjoyed every bite of everything you picked up up from us! Our plans are to do it again next Saturday at the Fort Smith farmers market. We hope to see you there! Thanks again for coming and have a great week.

Saturday looks like a darn cold front 98 for high that should make for a very cool morning so 7 AM till noon you will find us at the Fort Smith farmers market. Kaori’s kitchen Asian American bakery.

It was a very good day today at Fort Smith farmers market thanks to everyone who came out. I hope you loved everything you bought and we sure enjoyed bringing it to you.
The highlight of the day? Four young ladies came up and bought I think four or five different items and I thought well that’s very nice and off They went. about 10 minutes later They came back and said we never made it to the car. Can we have some more?
That’s gratifying
So thanks again to everyone who came out! nothing we liked better than seeing smiling happy faces. See you next week God willing.
