DEPOSITS:
Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable. Your order is not confirmed until a deposit has been paid. All communication (email, phone call, texts) prior to any payments does not guarantee date requested. Deposits can be paid with cash, credit, or debit. No checks will be accepted. PAYMENTS:
The remaining balance on cake orders must be paid upon delivery or pick up. Payments can be made using cash, credit, or debit. Square invoices will be emailed as a convenience for customers that wish to pay with credit or debit.

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER:
Changes CANNOT be made within 7 days of your event date. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charge. If you change the date or location of your event, we can’t guarantee availability and your deposit may be forfeited. DELIVERIES:
Delivery is not guaranteed on all dates or to all locations. Deliveries may be available for cakes over $100. Delivery fees are determined by mileage and location. There are no deliveries on Fridays or Sundays (weddings excluded). If there is a change of delivery location or date after the order is quoted and a deposit has been made, and it incurs a delivery fee where there previously was not one, and you choose to cancel your order, your deposit will NOT be refunded. PICK-UPS: If you choose to pick up your cake from my home in Spring, it must be done by appointment, during business hours (9am-12pm Mon-Sat). There are no pick-ups on Sundays. If you are more than 30 minutes late for pick-up, there is no guarantee someone will be there! Transport and handling of the cake becomes your responsibility. Cakes must be transported on a flat, level surface, such as the back of an SUV or in the floorboard, with something to prevent skidding (cushioned shelf liner or towel). NOT in someone’s lap or in the seat of a car. All cakes are boxed and wrapped in plastic for transportation. LIABILITY:
If you or a representative picks up and sets up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility of the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession. We are not responsible for damage after the cake is delivered and set up by us. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table/stand and an optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below. Custom Cakes by Liz’s reserves the right to refuse service or cancel any order at our discretion and may result in a full or partial loss of deposit.
