KJ's ARTISANAL BREADS – Holiday Bake 2021
KJ's Artisanal Breads will be offering the following Holiday Selections for December 22, 2021 pick up. Please place your order no later than 12:00 noon, December 16, 2021.
Classic Panettone, $12.00 each – There are many versions of Italy's beloved holiday sweet bread. My version includes house-made candied orange peel, dried cranberries and plump golden raisins. This golden brioche-like loaf also has subtle hints of vanilla and is sure to please even the meanest Grinch. Panettone keeps well and makes a great gift. Ingredients: Unbleached Wheat Flour, Whole Eggs, Butter, Candied Orange Peel, Dried Cranberries, Raisins, Sugar, Dry Milk Powder, Salt, Yeast, Vanilla, Orange Extract.
Chocolate Panettone with Candied Orange Peel, $12.00 each – Chocolate and orange is one of the most perfect flavor parings in the culinary world. This loaf features house-made candied orange peel and chunks of dark chocolate. Ingredients: Unbleached Wheat Flour, Whole Eggs, Candied Orange Peel, Chocolate Chunks, Unsalted Butter, Sugar, Cocoa, Dry Milk Powder, Salt, Yeast.
Chocolate Bread with Cranberries, $8.00 each – This yeasted bread features chunks of dark chocolate and dried cranberries. The tartness of the cranberries is the perfect foil for the richness of the chocolate. Ingredients: Unbleached Wheat Flour, Whole Eggs, Semi-Sweet Chocolate, Dry Milk Powder, Unsalted Butter, Sugar, Cranberries, Cocoa, Salt, Yeast.
Panforte Margherita and Panforte Nero - Panforte originally was a traditional Christmas celebration cake from Siena, but now it is enjoyed throughout the year, throughout the world. Panforte means strong bread and this this fantastic confection loaded with nuts, house-made candied fruits and warming spices supports its name. Enjoy in the morning with a good cup of coffee, as a midday snack or after dinner with a fine dessert wine. Panforte Nero pairs extremely well with red wine and both are superb accompaniments to a cheese platter. Store at room temperature tightly wrapped for 3 up to months. There are numerous versions of this magical treat and the following two are the Humble Baker's interpretations. The 6 inch size, approximately 20 ounces (perfect for gift giving) will easily provide 10-12 portions and the 8 inch, 40 ounces will serve 20 or more. Be sure to indicate the type and size you prefer.

Panforte Nero – Chocolate Panforte, 6 inch-$15.00, 8 inch-$25.00 - Ingredients: Honey, Walnuts, Candied Orange Peel, Sugar, Almonds, Flour, Chocolate, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Ginger, Salt, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Nutmeg.

Orders will be ready for Pick up at 5422 Fairview Forest Drive. Pick up times are 3:00 – 6:00PM.
