I have been having trouble getting consistent results with my French baguettes. They will turn out wonderful one time and the next two or three times they will be pitiful or even horrendous! So, I decided that I need to experiment with dough/ambient temperature, adjust yeast amounts, and consider retarding the shaped dough before baking. Yesterday’s batch was almost perfect. Now to practice, practice, practice and get consistent results every time. ❤️
