Honeychild's Sweet Creams Honeychild’s Sweet Creams are handmade frozen custards. We pride ourselves in unique, seasonal flavors using only the freshest, local ingredients.

"Whatcha cookin', Honeychild?" my dad used to ask. And it was always something. From pies and cookies to cakes and canned goods, I've been active in the kitchen ever since I could see the countertops. Growing up, my sisters and I would also make homemade ice cream with my dad at our ranch outside of Houston. And while my recipes certainly have evolved from the early '90s, I draw much inspiration f

rom these early childhood memories. Since then, I've discovered great ice cream starts with the ingredients. My mission at Honeychild's Sweet Creams is to provide high quality, great tasting frozen custards while adhering to a whole food approach. Each batch is handmade in Houston from locally sourced all-natural and/or organic ingredients, so I know — and can pronounce — everything that goes into it.

Big news — we teamed up with on a series of flavors we’re really excited about.

Each one is inspired by Cavazos’ offerings: rooted in nature, wellness, and traditional ingredients. There’s a lot to unpack, so we’re giving each flavor its own post.

First up: Mole Caramel.

The gist: an almond butter + avocado leaf base layered with toasted almonds and Mole Almendrado made into caramel.

Mole is one of those endlessly fascinating foods. We had a lot of fun exploring what those flavors could become in ice cream.
