We have eggs!!
Ducks eggs available now in Conroe. We usually have ducklings, and sometimes adult laying ducks, also.
Our ducks are pasture raised - they free range large pastures or are rotated around in a safe pen setup, depending on time of year. These duck eggs are full of grass, sun, bugs, swimming and splashing, and other happy duck things! Duck egg whites are thicker and firmer, which is better for baked goods - you’ll make the best meringue you’ve ever seen! Duck yolks have better fats and a better cholesterol ratio than chicken eggs. Duck eggs are deliciously rich, can be cooked any way a chicken egg can, and are even considered to have anti-cancer properties.
We feed a non-gmo, corn and soy free feed. They even get their feed soaked so it is nutritionally available and more enjoyable for our water-loving friends. They also get a breakfast snack of sunflower seeds while they are out each morning.
We raise our ducks from eggs, hand raised and cared for each day. You can usually see ducklings when you come visit 🙂
