We’re excited to welcome Drew Lindsey to Goode Co. Barbeque as our new Multi-Unit Pitmaster.
His story started cooking BBQ with his dad in the backyard and has taken him through some of Texas’ most respected pits. Now, Drew is bringing everything he’s learned to Goode Co.—leading our pit crews, developing new dishes, and helping us carry the tradition forward.

As FIFA took center stage in Houston this summer, we saw a special opportunity to celebrate the passion so many of our team members have for the game by giving one hourly employee the chance to experience a match firsthand.

To enter, team members submitted a brief email sharing how soccer or the FIFA World Cup has impacted their lives, whether through a passion for the game, family traditions, team spirit, or the memories they hoped to create by attending. Participants could also include photos to help tell their story, earning bonus points for bringing their experiences to life.

After an anonymous review process and two rounds of voting by multiple reviewers, we were proud to announce Santiago as the winner of our FIFA ticket giveaway!

Santiago has been a valued member of the Goode Company family since 1992. To celebrate his win, members of our Executive Team and Home Office surprised him at work with the tickets. Seeing the excitement on his face as he realized he was headed to the match made it a memorable moment for everyone who was there.

On July 4th, Santiago attended the match and enjoyed an unforgettable experience with his family. Knowing we could play a small part in creating memories they’ll cherish for years to come makes this giveaway even more meaningful.
