Some of y’all are going to not believe this but it is what it is.

This is the Juneteenth flag.

RED WHITE BLUE

Because our ancestors in spirit (flag was designed in 1997 by activist Ben Haith)wanted us modern day folks to know that we are Americans.

Not guest.
Residents.

Soooo the colors that have been going around for years are technically wrong.

HOWEVER…

That flag.

RED BLACK GREEN

That is a symbol of solidarity amongst African people across the world.

Just thought you should know.

I don’t think most people have ever tasted this kind of follower autonomy before.

Let’s use a simple example.

Say you’re a public official and 10,000 people choose to follow you on The Livable Forest®.

You make a post.

Within minutes, those followers receive a 👇👇👇

👉A notification
👉An in-app notification
👉A email notification.

There is no wondering whether an algorithm buried your message.

There is no wondering whether only a small percentage of your followers saw it.

There is no wondering whether you need to pay to reach people who already chose to follow you.

They got it.

Whether they choose to open it is up to them.

But they got it.

Now imagine being able to see not only how many people viewed your profile, but exactly who viewed it.

❌Not anonymous numbers.
❌Not vague analytics.

✅Actual people.
✅Actual profiles.
✅Actual members of the community.

You can see who is following you, who is visiting your profile, and who is engaging with what you’re sharing.

That’s powerful.

Because communication isn’t just about broadcasting. It’s about connection.

And here’s the best part.

Every business, creator, organization, nonprofit, school, public official, and community leader who joins The Livable Forest® gets access to this same type of distribution.

Bring your audience.

Invite your followers.

Because once people choose to follow you here, you don’t have to sit around wondering if they got the message.

You already know they did.

And once you’ve tasted that, it’s hard to go back.

Search The Livable Forest in your App Store.

Most vendor markets promote the event.

We’re promoting the vendors.

As businesses register for our markets, they’re added directly into the market experience inside The Livable Forest®, giving attendees an opportunity to see who’s coming before the event even begins.

That means more visibility for vendors and more discovery for shoppers.

We’re currently building out the Woodlands Harvest Market for September and adding vendors as registrations come in.

Because the best markets aren’t just about showing up.

They’re about discovering great local businesses before you ever arrive.

Sports bars are everywhere.

But great gathering places are much harder to find.

That's one of the reasons we're excited to welcome Charlie's Watch Bar as the Official Beverage Sponsor of the Kingwood Millennial Block Party.

Located right here in Kingwood, Charlie's Watch Bar was built for sports fans, food lovers, families, and anyone looking for a place to gather with friends.

With more than 30 high-definition TVs, you'll catch everything from Texans, Astros, Rockets, and Dynamo games to University of Houston matchups, local high school sports, UFC, WNBA, MLB, NCAA, and more.

But Charlie's is about more than what's on the screens.

Their scratch-made menu features elevated sports bar favorites, handcrafted cocktails, local beers, and a welcoming atmosphere designed for both die-hard fans and people who are just looking for a great meal and good company.

Whether you're stopping in for Game Day Wings, Charlie's Burger, a handcrafted margarita, or simply a place to watch the big game, Charlie's Watch Bar has quickly become one of Kingwood's favorite places to gather.

That's exactly the kind of business we love partnering with at The Livable Forest®.

Community-minded.
Locally invested.
Built around bringing people together.

I have a name for the old sponsorship model: the “Here Damn” sponsorship.

You know exactly what I’m talking about. A business writes a check, their logo gets thrown on a banner, maybe they get a quick shoutout from the stage, and that’s about it.

“Here damn, there’s your sponsorship.”

❌ No real story.
❌ No real connection.
❌ No real context.

Just a logo sitting next to 10 other logos hoping someone notices it.

And let’s be very honest, most event organizers aren’t selling sponsorships.

They’re selling logo placement.

Those are two completely different things.

The reality is that most businesses don’t want that anymore. After talking with business owners over the past year, what I’ve heard over and over again is that they want immersion into the community.

🩷 They want experiences built around their brand.

🩷 They want people to understand who they are, what they do, and why they should care.

🩷 They want visibility before the event, during the event, and long after the event is over.

🩷 They want storytelling, content, conversations, and opportunities to actually connect with the people they’re trying to reach.

Let me ask business owners something.

When was the last time a logo on a banner brought you a customer?

❌ Not someone who saw your logo.
❌ Not someone who walked past your logo.

✅ An actual paying customer.

👀 Can you track it? I track every click.

🤔 Can you measure it? I can tell you how many people visited your profile.

🧐 Can you confidently say that banner moved the needle for your business?

❌ Most can’t.

And that’s because people don’t build relationships with logos.

They build relationships with experiences.

They build relationships with stories.

They build relationships with recommendations.

They build relationships with trust.

The uncomfortable truth is that many sponsorship packages haven’t evolved in 20 years.

👀The price has changed.
🙄The banner got bigger.
🤨The logo moved higher on the flyer.

But the experience stayed the same.

That’s why The Livable Forest® is setting a new standard for sponsorships. Businesses deserve more than a logo on a banner.

They deserve visibility, storytelling, community integration, meaningful experiences, and opportunities for people to actually discover who they are and what they offer.

And here’s something else.

If you see a business sponsoring something through The Livable Forest®, understand that access to this brand is earned, not bought.

We are incredibly selective about who we partner with because our community’s trust is our most valuable asset.

✅Good people.
✅Good service.
✅Good experiences.

That’s the standard.

Because sponsorships shouldn’t feel like a donation.

They should feel like a partnership.

And if you’re spending marketing dollars, shouldn’t people know more about your business than just your logo?

What you’re seeing in this screen share is a small glimpse of what I’ve been building inside The Livable Forest®.

Over the last several weeks, I’ve been refining the Solstice Society Perks Program while continuing to expand the overall member experience throughout the platform.

We recently crossed 2,500 members, with many concentrated throughout Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, and The Woodlands.

Unlike traditional social media, The Livable Forest® was built as a utility-first platform designed to help people discover local businesses, restaurants, experiences, events, and recommendations without fighting algorithms or sorting through endless noise.

Inside this video, you’ll see a preview of our new Perks Directory, shopping experiences, dining experiences, curated lifestyle guides, and the growing ecosystem local businesses can become part of through the Solstice Society Perks Program.

Participation in the Perks Program is completely free for businesses. Participating businesses simply provide a member perk and commit to the program for one year. In return, they receive visibility inside a growing local ecosystem designed around discovery, trust, and community.

This isn’t a coupon book.

This isn’t another social media platform.

It’s a place where local businesses can be intentionally discovered by people who are actively looking for places to shop, dine, explore, and support.

If you’re a local business owner looking for long-term visibility in front of a highly engaged local audience, I’d love to show you what we’re building.

Interested in becoming a Perks Partner? Send me a message.

And we’re just getting started. 🌲

I’ve been working behind the scenes on something I’m really excited about.

The Experiences section inside The Livable Forest® is getting a major upgrade.

Instead of relying only on Facebook event pages, I’m creating dedicated event experiences right inside the community. Each event now has its own page featuring event details, what to expect, participating vendors, sponsors, community activity, and ways to get involved.

One of my favorite additions is the ability to spotlight vendors and sponsors more intentionally. Instead of being seen only on event day, they’ll have visibility before, during, and after the event.

You’ll also start seeing fully built-out sponsor experiences inside individual event pages. In fact, later today I’ll be revealing our beverage sponsor for the Kingwood Millennial Block Party so you can see exactly what that looks like.

My goal is simple: make it easier to discover events, support local businesses, and experience everything happening across The Livable Forest® in one place.

📲 Haven’t joined yet?

Download The Livable Forest® app by searching LIVable4US in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and come explore what’s happening.

I’ve been quietly building something behind the scenes.

The Experiences section inside The Livable Forest® is designed to bring together the concerts, movie nights, markets, workshops, Soft Socials, and community experiences that make life here so special.

Instead of scrolling endlessly trying to figure out what’s happening, you can now explore experiences by category, discover upcoming events, and find new ways to connect with your community.

And this is only the beginning.

Over time, you’ll see new experiences added, event pages become more detailed, participating vendors highlighted, sponsors showcased, and even more ways to discover what The Livable Forest® is creating throughout the year.

If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, now is a great time to jump in and start exploring.

Download the app, create your free account, and take a look around.

I’d love to know which experience you’re most excited about: Concert Series, Movie Nights, Markets, Workshops, or Soft Socials?
