Tomorrow, Flying Saucer Pie Company will be closed so our family can celebrate the Fourth of July together.

This holiday has always meant something special to us because of my father. He came to America as an immigrant, became a proud U.S. citizen, and never took that privilege for granted. Every Independence Day, he made sure we celebrated with family, good food, and gratitude for the country that gave him so many opportunities. It’s a tradition we’re proud to continue.

Thank you for making us part of your holiday table year after year. Your support of our family business means more than you know, and we’re grateful to have shared another Independence Day with you.

We hope your day is filled with family, laughter, great food, and a moment to appreciate the freedoms we all enjoy.

🥧 Pie Update for the Holiday Weekend! 🇺🇸

The Great news! We received our new shortening this morning, and our team is busy making fresh pie dough right now. That means we’ll have a full lineup of fresh pies available tomorrow, just in time for your holiday celebrations!

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding.

Don’t forget to get your July 4th pies tomorrow as we are closed on Saturday for the holiday.

At Flying Saucer Pie Company, quality has always come first.

Unfortunately, we’ve discovered that a new shortening we recently began using has made our cream pie crusts much tougher than they should be. That’s simply not the standard we hold ourselves to, so we have made the decision to temporarily stop selling our cream pies while we work to correct the issue.

If you purchased a cream pie from us within the past week and were disappointed with the crust, please contact us. We sincerely apologize, and we’d love the opportunity to make it right.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We won’t offer a product unless we’re proud to put our name on it, and we’ll let everyone know as soon as our cream pies are back to the quality you’ve come to expect from Flying Saucer Pie Company.
