safe to say that the first trip to the motherland was a success and exceeded any expectations i could've had 🥹 i constantly felt so in awe of everything vietnam had to offer/show; from the kindness everybody showed, the lush nature, and the food... THE FOOD Y'ALL 😭 trust the food is so good and even better than what people say. a trip im truly never going to forget and keep near and dear to my heart 💛

twas a plus to be with my family out there and catch up after all this time :,) mark my words, i will be going back again soon!!

i just came back from my first ever trip to vietnam aka the MOTHERLAND and i'm actually mad because while everyone told me about the street food and the shopping why did no one talking about how GOOD the dessert game was because i had some of the BEST dessert of my life there 😩

honorable mentions!!
- nagocha matcha specialty & tea house @ ben thanh market — the matcha guys 😩 prob one of the best umami deep matcha I've ever had
- bread & butter bakery — highly rec the jasmine oolong tangerine desserts ugh perfectly not too sweet and the tea flavors came through soooo wellll
- amélie pâtisserie et cafe — OBSESSED with the everything i could have eaten 12 cuz they were so light and not too sweet (matcha red bean one was the fav)
- quán hoa sua — their corn milk 😩 the inspo behind this month's pandan corn blueberry cake!

🍪excited to share that i'll be doing a pastry box takeover at TOM N TOMS COFFEE KATY !! we've been having the bestest time with our cookies there at pop ups and at the counter but this month we're changing it up a bit!

had to bust out the big boi bowl

it was 97 degrees y’all... both me and the desserts sweating our lives away 😭

autumn is a natural model

my first loves (tiramisu + brownie) combined bc why choose when you can have it all at once 😌

the debut of the tiramisu brownie!! ☕️

made with fudgey chocolate brownie, cafe sua da dipped lady fingers, cafe sua da mascarpone cream, and cocoa powder finish!

the other new tiramisu brownie (matcha raspberry)! 🍵 the asian ancestors would approve bc that raspberry jam added the perfect level of tartness 😌

made with fudgey matcha brownie, matcha-dipped lady fingers, raspberry mascarpone cream, raspberry jam, freeze-dried raspberries, and matcha powder finish!

i lost my og piping tip for my coconut whipped ganache and made something new with a diff piping tip (tbh i like this new piping more LOL)
