IMPORTANT: Until you receive an order confirmation email and a receipt for your deposit, your order is NOT considered accepted. Order Confirmation - this is an email that will come from admin@crafted-confections to you after your order has been placed, reviewed and the deposit has been charged. All products produced at Mackinzie's Crafted Confections are being made in a home kitchen under the State of Texas Cottage Law guidelines. This facility is not required to be inspected by the health department. All members of the Mackinzie's Crafted Confections team are at the bare minimum, certified by Harris County, The City of Houston and The State of Texas in standard Food Handling Safety. There is at least one Certified Food Service Manager on premises during any active production period at Mackinzie's Crafted Confections. All products produced at Mackinzie's Crafted Confections, including, but not limited to fillings. toppings, and icings may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts or other allergens. It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform Mackinzie's Crafted Confections prior to the confirmation of their order of any allergy issues. It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information provided to them by Mackinzie's Crafted Confections and accordingly, the Supplier will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the products provided by them. CANCELLATION POLICIES:
For Standard Orders (non-event):
Once an order is confirmed - ie, a confirmation email has been sent out from Mackinzie's Crafted Confections - customer has 24 hours to cancel the order. Cancellations must be in writing (via email) and must be received within the 24 hour cancellation window to be eligible for a full refund, including the deposit. Cancellations received after the 24 hours has passed but before production has started are still eligible for refund, including the deposit, but will be charged a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations received once production has started are considered late cancellations and are NOT refundable and the balance is due in full. For Event Orders:
