For over 20 years I have made a Rum Cake that melts in your mouth. I do not claim to be a baker, but this is a cake that I did well, never ever dry - I cannot stand a dry cake! After I moved to Kentucky, home of Bourbon, the quest began to create a Bourbon Cake......after some trial (no error if you ask my husband!) the Chocolate Bourbon cake was added to my list of desserts.
2021 brought a move to Houston, Texas and since then the Top Shelf Margarita and Lemon Drop Martini Cakes became part of the mouth watering Drunk Cake menu! After several suggestions from family and friends to start a business, I decided to give it a shot! (yes, pun intended - lol!)
2022 opened a new chapter and Susie is retiring with her husband to Panama and Drunk Cakes has a new owner Roxanne with the same tried and true recipes!
