This cake is officially evidence that I watch too many crime shows 🔎🧪

This forensic/crime scene cake was SO much fun to create, complete with:
🖤 edible crime scene tape
🖤 evidence markers
🖤 fingerprints
🖤 blood splatter
🖤 a little fondant lab coat
🖤 AND blacklight reactive details using tonic water because apparently I can’t just be normal about anything 😂

The fingerprints and body outline actually glow under UV light and honestly? I’m ridiculously proud of how this one turned out.

Now somebody hurry up and solve the case before we cut the evidence 🔪🎂

This one was such a fun theme to bring to life 🏴‍☠️

Porter’s pirate cake got the full treatment… hand drawn treasure map, ocean waves, buried treasure, and of course a kraken situation happening on top because we don’t do boring around here.

I love when a cake has something to look at from every angle. It’s not just dessert, it’s a whole little scene.

And yes… we had matching cake pops to go with it 👀

Little treasure maps and gold coins to tie everything together and make the dessert table feel complete.

I’m not saying this might be one of my favorite cakes I’ve made lately… but I’m also not NOT saying that 👀

This Wild Kratts cake for Lake’s 5th birthday turned out so fun. Between the trees, the little animals, and those toppers, I feel like I built a whole tiny jungle on top of a cake!

Custom cakes like this are my favorite because every single detail gets to be part of the story. Nothing basic over here.
