Hello Kindred friends!!

I am back from vacation and in recovery mode. Disney World will make you feel a whole new feeling of tired you never felt before..

That being said-I’m going to recover for a little while before starting back my usual routine of orders!

I am also going to be doing another festival in November in Boaz! I’ll post more about that later. ☺️

THANK you to everyone who ordered this week!

I made 100 donuts and 40 pillows yesterday 🫢

All I need is a bakery kitchen and we could be popping these out FRESH and hot every morning. 😩
That’s the dream! I love it so much.

My little family and I will be leaving for vacation very soon so next week I will be out of town sadly.

I will return back to the kitchen the following week if life allows me to!

I appreciate each and every one of you.

I can’t do any later due to having to prepare for our trip during fall break 😅

📍 I will be dropping orders off Wednesday morning at the Douglas Primary school as well as the Elementary and Middle schools! So TEACHERS you can get your orders in until tonight!!

⭐️I will be closing the order at 5pm this evening so I can make sure I have all my dough ready tonight for baking tomorrow evening. ☺️

So these are FRESHLY BAKED THE NIGHT BEFORE, packaged in boxes so they stay nice and temperature controlled. ❤️

💬Tag your Douglas teacher friends if you think they need a tasty fall treat to pick them up mid week before fall break!

So far we’re up to 20 pillows and 48 donuts
-I don’t mind having to get more butter. 🤪

We’ve got a few new faces here on the Kindred Crumb page!

Hello!
I am Haley, the founder of this little micro bakery.
I know there are a ton of small farm stand bakeries and micro bakeries around all surrounding towns, but you’ve followed this page and that makes me so happy!

I keep things simple around here and will literally bake anything you can think of. I take my time and I absolutely love what I do, it’s not just a side hustle I decided to pick up to make myself do for some extra cash, I truly enjoy baking and do it for the love of it.

This rainy morning I decided to bake a puff pastry from scratch again, except I wanted to do something a little different.

If you’ve ever been to Gatlinburg Tennessee and visited The Donut Friar that’s located in “The Village” on the strip then you’re going to be very familiar with this pastry. My baking journey started with sourdough breads and it has grown from there, and I am now trying my hand at pastries. I absolutely love pastries and how pretty they are.

Well, these Pillows turned out way better than I thought they would considering it was my first time trying to make one. 😅 I love The Donut Friars crème pillows, however I filled these with homemade jams that I had leftover in the fridge. Strawberry, blueberry, and apple cinnamon and made a homemade whip cream to dollop on top and they were DELICIOUS.

I only had one basket of donuts left after yesterday!
I baked enough for two days.. I was supposed to be at the harvest festival on both days, however, I do not have anything left to sell!!
The basket of donuts that were left were sent with my husband to work, him and his firefighter crew will be delighted to have some snacks for their shift. ☺️

THANK YOU for your supporting my little micro bakery!

I am sad to say that I will not be at the Harvest Festival again today due to lack of inventory.

I see some new followers and I see some great reviews! I am so excited to see you here!

We had a GREAT sale yesterday, and I want you all to know that I bake from ONE oven, with my two hands!
We sold 375 donuts
35 sweet potato breads
20 mini sourdough loaves
10 regular sourdough loaves
10 cinnamon raisin loaves
200 muffins
10 apple tarts (I wish I had made more tarts!!)

All of those came from one normal sized oven! 🫣

Thank you for supporting my little business and I look forward to baking more treats and serving up more festivals in the near future!!
