We hope your week is off to a wonderful start! And if it’s not… well, a little something sweet certainly couldn’t hurt. 😂

FRESH FROM THE BURROW! 🍂

We’ve got a couple of delicious new additions to the menu this week, along with plenty of returning favorites to keep your fall cravings satisfied!

🍁 Date Walnut Crumb Muffins: Soft, tender muffins filled with sweet dates and toasted walnuts, topped with a buttery brown sugar crumble. A little nutty, a little caramel-like, and especially delicious with your morning coffee! (These are SO good and we highly recommend!)

🍌 Banana Chocolate Chip Bread: Our classic, moist banana bread packed with plenty of rich chocolate chips. Enjoy a slice slightly warmed for an extra cozy treat! (Our family is fully obsessed)

Both new goodies will be making their way into the cupboard throughout the coming week, available while supplies last!

FRESH FROM THE BURROW 🍂

The cupboard is stocked for another week, and this menu is feeling very October. We’ve added a handful of new treats this week, from warm molasses and maple walnut to big, gooey cherry sweet rolls!

🍁 NEW THIS WEEK:

Molasses Crumb Bread
Soft, warmly spiced and full of that deep, old-fashioned molasses flavor. This one is especially good warmed up with a little butter and coffee.

Maple Walnut Morning Buns
Fluffy golden buns swirled with maple, brown sugar and toasted walnuts, with caramelized edges that might just be the best part.

Cherry Almond Sweet Rolls
Big, soft sweet rolls swirled with bright, jammy cherries, a touch of almond flavor and finished with a sweet vanilla glaze.

Brown Sugar Date Crumble Bars
Buttery brown sugar crumble layered with a rich, jammy date filling for a soft, chewy bar with deep caramel-like sweetness.

Pumpkin Bread

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT: BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 🫐

Did you know browned butter is one of our favorite little secret ingredients here at The Baker’s Burrow? We sneak it into quite a few of our recipes, including our Blueberry Muffins!

Browning the butter gives these big, soft muffins an extra rich, slightly nutty flavor that regular butter just can’t quite match. And instead of standard blueberries, we use wild blueberries, which pack SO much more blueberry flavor into every bite.

Topped with buttery streusel, they make a really delicious morning (or anytime) treat, especially warmed up and paired with a hot cup of coffee! ☕️

These muffins are one of our year-round staples, so no matter the season, you’ll regularly find them stocked in the cupboard!

It’s officially fall, and this week’s menu definitely shows how excited we are to dive headfirst into all things cozy and spiced! We’ve been baking with plenty of pumpkin, cinnamon, browned butter, maple, and toffee, plus we’re especially excited to have homemade yeast breads joining the cupboard this week! 🍞🍁

🍂 NEW AT THE BURROW: BREAKFAST BAKES! ☕️

Just in time for the first official day of autumn tomorrow, we’re bringing something completely new to the cupboard for your chilly mornings…

BREAKFAST. 🥐🫐🧀

We’ve been dreaming up cozy, grab-and-go breakfast bakes especially with our busy locals in mind. Something you can swing by for on your way to work, school, errands, or an autumn adventure when you need quick morning fuel that also tastes ridiculously good.

And we’re starting with TWO new additions:

🧀 Roasted Pepper & Cheddar Breakfast Rolls
Soft, fluffy yeasted rolls swirled with sharp cheddar, roasted peppers and onions, and finished with fresh parsley.
✨We’re not exaggerating when we say these made the entire house smell like a delicious little savory bakery. 😂 Everyone kept wandering in asking what was baking, and the warm, cheesy taste test received VERY enthusiastic reviews.

🫐 Blueberry Almond Oatmeal Squares
Soft oatmeal bars packed with blueberries and almonds, lightly sweet and made with simple, nourishing ingredients (wheat free!).
✨These already passed the ultimate test! We packed a bunch for our family camping trip to the U.P., and on mornings when nobody had time to cook before heading out to explore, we grabbed these and went. They were such an easy, satisfying way to get our mornings started.

Grab one. Warm it up. Add a cup of coffee. Head out the door! ☕️🍂

Both are waiting in the cupboard now, and this is only the beginning of our new breakfast bakes!

🍂 The cupboard doors are opening again! 🍂

After a week of camping, exploring, and soaking up all that Upper Peninsula wildness, we’re home and ready to fill the cupboard again! 🏕️🌲

The Baker’s Burrow will be OPEN tomorrow, Monday, September 21st, from 7:30 AM–7:30 PM!

And you might want to take a peek inside early… we’ve tucked in a few delightful new breakfast additions that we’re especially excited about! We’ll properly introduce them in tomorrow’s post, but for now, consider this your little head start. 🌅

Our little family is off for a week of camping, exploring, and adventuring around the beautiful U.P. While we’re away, the Burrow will be taking a little vacation too! 🏕️🍂

CUPBOARD CLOSED

🍂 Fresh from the Burrow 🍂

Okay, we have to know… are you happily welcoming cooler mornings, sweaters, and all things cinnamon? Or are you still firmly holding onto summer with both hands? 😂☀️🍂

Whichever camp you’re in, the cupboard is starting to taste suspiciously like fall!

🎃 Pumpkin Spice Muffins are BACK!
These were such a favorite last year that there was really no question about bringing them back. Soft, warmly spiced pumpkin muffins with those crackly cinnamon-sugar tops we love so much.

And a few more new treats have wandered into the Burrow this week:

🍎 Apple Pecan Crumb Cake
Tender apple cake tucked beneath a cinnamon-pecan crumble.

🤎 Salted Caramel Oat Bars
Buttery, chewy oat bars layered with rich homemade salted caramel. Sweet, salty, and very good with a cup of coffee.

🍩 Pumpkin Donut Holes
Little packs of five soft pumpkin donut holes, rolled generously in cinnamon sugar. Because one pumpkin treat returning to the cupboard definitely wasn’t enough. 🎃

If something on this week’s menu is calling your name, you’ll want to stop by in the next couple of days! We’re heading north for a family camping trip in the U.P., so the cupboard will be closed Sunday, September 13 through Sunday, September 20.

We’ll be back open Monday, September 21, hopefully well-rested and smelling just a little bit like campfire. 😂🌲 And we’ll be returning with a whole new category of goodies at the Burrow! We’re keeping that part a secret for just a little longer, so keep an eye out. 👀🐇
