Seven years ago I put on every hat in this bakery and convinced myself that was just what ownership looked like.

God has been gracious enough to show me a better way.

One of the things I’ve learned is that we each bring different gifts to the work we do, and when people are given the freedom to operate in their areas of strength, everyone benefits. The whole thing just works better. It turns out the bakery runs better too when I’m not doing everything in it.

I am so grateful for the team that has been placed around me. Each of them brings something I don’t have, and something I genuinely need.
