Friends,

A gentle and sorrowful reminder that we won't be at the final Perrysburg Farmers Market of the season, today.

We long to be there to say goodbye to the season- and we're going to miss you! We had an entire menu, decorations and celebrations for the day, but just haven't recovered enough to make it happen.

We pray your visit is delightful! The weather is perfection and there will still be so many fabulous vendors present to give you a wonderful experience. Please say hi to Doodle Bean Coffee, and Sur Le Pouce and Turk Farms for us... just to name a couple of vendor friends.

We love you all. We love Perrysburg. And we're sorry we won't be there. May God bless you richly.

We'll see you next month at the Toledo Farmers Market and at Providence Lutheran Church.💗

Soup season is upon us! First up this season was chicken and dumplin' soup earlier this week. Yesterday, my daughter and I made a bunch of chili to can. 🫙🌶️😋

What soup do you miss most during the summer months?

Side note: We're so disappointed that we don't have our Joyfully Risen soup mixes this season! Next year, we promise that we will have plenty to go around!

Hi friends, we miss you already. We have decided to take the rest of the month off, as it's much needed. We'll rest and prepare for the Toledo Winter Farmers Market. Jess will also busy be canning for the winter, that way we'll have quick, easy, wholesome meals when we're busy with bread-making.

We want to thank you for an incredible Spring/Summer season. You showed up and supported us in ways that left us humbled, amazed and inspired. This business requires a lot of work and extremely long hours, but y'all make it worth it. We're grateful for each of you and truly love the Joyfully Risen community. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💗💗

This bread has been requested at every market since we mentioned it, and the wait is over! Our Fig & Caramelized Onion Sourdough Focaccia will be available at tomorrow's market!

Sweet figs, rich caramelized onions, and that irresistible sourdough focaccia texture make this one seriously special.

Dip it in some delicious olive oil, enjoy it with butter and a glass of w**e, or create a meal out of it by adding salty cheeses and cured meats.

However you enjoy it, it's sure to be the highlight of a relaxing evening. 💗

We’ve had so many new folks discover our bread lately (and so many new faces join us here on Facebook 💗), that we realized some of you haven’t been properly introduced to the bread that was never supposed to stick around.

Meet Firecracker Focaccia. 🌶️🧀🥖

We created it as a limited-edition 4th of July special.

That was the plan, anyway.

Then you kept asking for it.

And asking for it.

And…asking for it. 😂

So Firecracker earned itself a spot in the summer rotation—and somehow became our #1 seller of 2026.

It’s our jalapeño focaccia packed with savory aromatics, topped generously with pepper jack cheese and fresh jalapeño. It’s got a friendly little kick, but don’t let the name fool you—the real obsession is the FLAVOR.

At this point, we’re pretty sure the Firecracker Focaccia Fan Club is an actual thing. 🔥

And membership has one final requirement for the season:

GET ONE THIS THURSDAY.

Because after this week, Firecracker is heading into hibernation until next season. 👋🌶️
