About Us
In the 1930s, a large influx of Lebanese citizens immigrated to Puebla, Mexico, bringing with them their culture and cuisine. They introduced the region to many of their dishes, notably their classic shawarma & flour-based pita bread, known as tacos arabes. So, we found it really fascinating that this relatively significant pocket of Mexican-Lebanese fusion cuisine has remained so well hidden.
This is our interpretation of this nearly 100-year-old cuisine, and we are really proud to have the opportunity to showcase our culinary voice in Hoboken.

I followed exact instructions to activate the yeast and it didn't proof Its dead.I am not a inexperienced baker I've worked as a professional chef since 19 years old I don't know why I bought this junk in good faith

Its JUST BREAD FLOUR no malt diastic powder none for boiling bagels These aren't bagels there probably Rolls. Get a bag of bread hi gluten flour and non diastic malt powder from King Arthur and you'll be able to have real bagels like I've grown up with in Brooklyn NYC
This is a BIG WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME
That yeast should of proofed in a warm kitchen were lots of bread and sour dough starters have been used so this rooms air has plenty of wild yeast partials But as u see in he photo after now 35 minutes I very got dirty looking water.
